DataLoader

DataLoader provides an interface to load certain types of data from external sources into your Advance database.

Key benefits of DataLoader include:

• A side-by-side review of existing data and proposed changes.

• Validating, Posting, Discarding, Recovering and Deferring individual data rows.

• Viewing summary/detail report information on batches.

• An intuitive review process (Validation Errors in the Additional Information section).

• Security, including form, application and page security.

• Inherited security from other applications, e.g., users who are not allowed to add address data through the address form are not allowed to load address data using DataLoader.

• Copying a batch from one database to another.

Note: DataLoader is available for institutions and organizations that are licensed for Biographic Entry in Advance. DataLoader is not included with the core license.
