In Go To, select 'DataLoader – Batch List' (Application ID 41, DLBS) and click Go. An 'Open with ID' value is not required.

Click Save.
Data Fields:
Description |
The description of the batch. Required |
Status |
This value indicates the status of the batch. It will be maintained by the system. However, you may modify the value as necessary. This code is required. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_advloader_batch_status view. Batch status codes include:
Upon the completion of a single or bulk posting operation, if there are any Active or Deferred transactions that have non-warning errors, the status of the batch will be changed to ‘Processed with Errors’. The batch will remain at that status until you manually change it to something else, or the batch status becomes Complete (all non-Discarded transactions are posted). |
Alt IDs Type |
This value is used to perform the cross-reference between 'original' IDs provided in a batch and the Advance entity id_number equivalents. If you specify a value in this field, you should make sure that all entries in the batch are of the same alternate ID type. This is the same as the ID type that you put in the first 3 characters of the primary key in the batch_detail row header column when using Alternate IDs. That value is used to create a cross-reference row in the zz_adv_loader_entity (and the IDs tables, except for Advance Web and AWC) tables. |
Approval Code |
This is a code that can be used to indicate that the data in the batch has been approved for loading. These values are validated against the tms_advloader_batch_approval view. |
Comment |
This is a text field that may be used to contain comments about the batch. The Comment generally acts as the description for the batch. |
Locked |
If checked, the batch is locked. A batch will become locked when a user is performing maintenance in a batch. Un-checking the check box will unlock the batch, however doing so may interrupt another user who is performing maintenance on the batch. The check box should only be unchecked when you are certain that the batch has been locked in error. A batch may become accidentally locked in the event that a user is working with a batch and their system reboots or an unexpected error occurs. In this event, the status of the batch may remain in the Locked state. If this occurs you should un-check the box to restore the batch to a maintainable state. |
