DataLoader Batch - Copying Batches

In the event that you wish to copy a batch and work with it in a different database before reviewing, validating, or posting the data in your production database, you can copy the batch and the contents of the batch from the current database to a different database.  Actually, you may even copy it to the same database.

You can copy a batch while current on any of the following applications:

• Batch Overview

• Batch Maintenance

• Transaction List

• Error Log

To copy a batch:

1. Select Batch Copy from the Actions Menu while current on the batch you wish to copy.

2. Enter logon information for the destination database and click OK.

3. When the batch is created, a message will indicate the results.

Note: When a batch is copied, the statuses (validated, deferred, etc.) in the batch that was copied will all automatically be set to 'Not Reviewed'.
