Entity Lookup - Person

The Entity Person Lookup window is used to search for an entity or group of entities. For example, use this lookup  to search for all entities that have a particular record type, all entities that have a particular preferred class year or all entities that have a particular record status.

 

Note: the Entity (Person) Lookup does not allow you to search for Organization entities. To lookup Organization entities, use the Entity (Organization) Lookup.

Note: If you are performing a template lookup, some of the fields described below may not appear on the form.

 

Data Fields:

 

Record Type

The record type (alumnus, parent, etc.) of the entity that you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_record_type table (AC).

Record Status

The record status of the entity that you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_record_status table (AB).

Pref School

The preferred school of the entity that you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_alloc_school table (J2).

Pref Addr Type

The preferred address type of the entity that you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_address_type table (AH).

Source Code

The code that describes the source of information for the entity you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_entity_source table (T0).

Institutional Suffix

The institutional suffix for the entity that you wish to look up.

Comment

Comment on this entity record that you wish to look up.

Operator

The name of the operator that last modified the row that you wish to look up.

User Group

The name of the user group that last modified the row that you wish to look up.

Status Change Date

The date that the status of the entity record that you wish to look up last changed.

Gender

The gender of the entity that you wish to look up. Values display from the tms_gender table.

Deleted

The delete indicator allows you to specify whether you wish to include "deleted" records in the search. Hard-coded values include Deleted, Not Deleted, ALL.

Deleted Mod Date

The date that you wish to search for records that were deleted.

Name Change Date

The date that you wish to search for records that had a name changed.

Pref Class Year

The preferred class year for the entity that you wish to look up.

Directories Nbr

The number of directories that the entity you wish to look up appeared.

Date Added

The date that the row that you wish to look up was added.

Date Modified

The date that the row that you wish to look up was last modified.

Year End Tax Receipt

Indicates whether you wish to include Year End Tax Receipts in your search. Values include All, None, Yes and No. This field only appears when system option 148 is enabled.
