A program is a coordinated effort to meet a defined goal by soliciting selected prospects. You may define a program around an organizational unit (for example, a new pre-natal unit in the hospital), a special event (for example the 150th anniversary of the school of music), a common purpose (for example increasing the number of endowed chairs), or a particular campaign (the campaign for the next century). A program may involve prospects who are already program prospects for another initiative or who are already considering one or more proposals.
Examples of programs include:
Law School
Annual Fund
Library
Athletics
Once a Program has been established, you may associate a Program with a Prospect.
