The Prospect Lookup is used to search for a prospect or a group of related prospects.

Note: If you are performing a template lookup, some of the fields described below may not appear on the form.

 

Data Fields:

 

Name

The name of the prospect you wish to look up.

Active

This field indicates whether the prospect that you wish to look up is active or not. Hard-coded values include Active, Inactive, and ALL.

Prospect

This field indicates whether the prospect that you wish to look up is a major prospect or not. Hard-coded values include Major Prospect, Other, and ALL.

Primary Entity

This field indicates whether the prospect is the primary entity. Hard-coded values include Primary Entity and Not Primary Entity.

Type

The type of prospect you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_prospect_type table (TC).

Plan Giving

This field indicates whether the prospect that you wish to look up is currently flagged as a planned giving prospect or not. Hard-coded values include Plan Giving, Other, and ALL.

Start

The start date for the prospect you wish to look up.

Stop

The stop date for the prospect you wish to look up.

Stage

The stage of the prospect you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_stage table (TX).

Group

The code that identifies the group affiliation within the institution for the prospect that you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_prospect_group table (S2).

Classification

The classification for the prospect you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_classification table (TF).

Major Prosp.

 

The code further identifies the major prospect that you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_major_prospect table (S4).

Rating

The rating of the prospect you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_rating table (TE).

Rating Status

The status of the rating of the prospect you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_rating_status table (S3).

Result

The result of the solicitation of the prospect you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_contact_result table (S6).

Solic Priority

The priority assigned to the solicitation of the prospect you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_solicitation_priority table (TY).

Expectation

The dollar amount you expect the prospect will give.

Expected Date

The date on which you expect the prospect will give.

Result Amt.

The result amount of the pledge or letter of intent resulting from the ask for the prospect you wish to look up.

Result Date

The date of the pledge or letter of intent resulting from the ask for the prospect you wish to look up.

Campaign

The campaign for which the prospect you wish to look up will be cultivated or solicited. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_campaign table (CX).

Affiliation

The affiliation of the prospect you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_prospect_affiliation table (S5).

Committee

The committee of the prospect you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_prospect_committee table (SD).

Region

The code that describes the region of the prospect you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_prospect_region table (SA).

Team

The code used to describe the team of the prospect you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_prospect_team table (SO).

Unit

This code is used to identify the school or unit. Values in this drop-down list are validated against tms_unit_code (UU).
