The Matching Policy Lookup is used to search for the details of the matching gift policy for an organization, including the ratio, eligibility requirements, dollar minimums and maximums, and the information on whom to contact for the matching gift program at the matching gift company. For example, use this lookup to search for all organization entities that have a particular matching minimum, all organizations that have a particular matching maximum or all organizations that match a certain amount per employee.

Data Fields:

Match Thru ID |
The entity ID for the organization that processes matching gifts for the entity that you wish to look up. For example, all Sears stores and divisions may process their matches through the Sears Foundation. Each Sears may have its own entity ID and address. All could 'match through' the Sears Foundation. |

Active |
This field indicates whether the matching gift company that you wish to look up is active or not. Hard-coded values include Active, Inactive, and ALL. |

AKA |
An alias name for the organization (may also be recorded as an alternate name for the Organization using Names, but this is not required) that you wish to look up. |

Organization ID |
The ID number of the organization that you wish to look up. |
|
Fund |
The name of the matching gift foundation or fund, if applicable, for the organization (may be added with its own entity ID and be linked with an organization relationship to the matching gift company, but this is not required) that you wish to look up. |

Contact ID |
The contact person for the matching gifts program within the current organization that you wish to look up. Either an entity ID or the contact’s information itself can be entered. This field and the Contact Name field are mutually exclusive, meaning that you may enter in information in one of the two fields but not both of them. |

Contact Name |
The contact name for the matching gifts program within the current organization that you wish to look up. This field and the Contact ID field are mutually exclusive, meaning that you may enter in information in one of the two fields but not both of them. |

Title |
The contact person’s title within the matching gift organization that you wish to look up. Address Up to two lines of street address information for the contact person that you wish to look up. |

Last Name |
The last name of the contact person that you wish to look up. |

First Name |
The first name of the contact person that you wish to look up. |

Middle Initial |
The middle initial of the contact person that you wish to look up. |

Prefix |
The name prefix for the contact person that you wish to look up. Drop-down list; values are displayed from the tms_prefix table (Z1). |

The name suffix for the contact person that you wish to look up. Drop-down list; values are displayed from the tms_suffix table (Z2). |
