Gift Lookup

The Gift lookup allows you to search for a specific gift based on criteria such as Allocation, Account Number, etc.

Note: If you are performing a template lookup, some of the fields described below may not appear on the form.

Data Fields:

Allocation Code	The name of the allocation you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the Allocation Table.
Allocation Account	The allocation account you wish to look up.
Allocation School	The allocation school you wish to look up.
Special	The special handling code that you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_special_handling table (CZ).
Campaign	The campaign you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_campaign table (CX).
School	The school you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_alloc_school table (J2).
Campus	The campus you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_campus table (GN).
Anon.	This field indicates the anonymity of the donor of the gift that you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_anonymous table (CY).
Pledge Payment	This field indicates whether the gift you are looking up was made as a pledge payment or not. Hard-coded values in this drop-down list include Pledge Payment, Not Pledge Payment, and All.
Type	This field indicates the type of gift that you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_transaction_type table (FD).
Tender	The type of tender use to make the gift that you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_payment_type table (DT).
Reunion Campaign	The type of reunion associated with the gift you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_reunion_camp table (DK).
Fee	This field indicates whether the gift you are looking up had an allocation fee associated with it. Hard-coded values in this drop-down list include‘Processing Fee, No Fee, None and All.
Entity Type	This field indicates the entity record type for the entity that made the gift that you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_record_type table (AC).
Purpose	This field indicates the purpose of the gift you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_prop_purpose table (V4).
Assoc Code	This field indicates the code that describes the association between the donor and the gift that you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_association table (IF).
Department	This field indicates the department code of the gift that you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_alloc_department table (J5).
Sub Dept	This field indicates the sub department code of the gift that you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_alloc_sub_dept table (YH).
Division	This field indicates the division code of the gift that you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_alloc_division table (J6).
Receipt Number	The receipt number of the gift that you wish to look up.
Batch #	The batch number associated with the gift that you wish to look up.
Check #	The check number associated with the gift that you wish to look up.
Appeal	The appeal code (as it appears in the Appeal Header) that you wish to look up.
Gift Appeal	The gift appeal number associated with the gift that you wish to look up.
Memb Appeal	The membership appeal number associated with the gift that you wish to look up.
Amount	The legal (hard credit) amount of the transaction you wish to look up.
Assoc Credit Amt	The associated credit (soft credit) amount of the transaction you wish to look up.
Year of Giving	The year of giving you wish to look up.
Date of Record	The date of record you wish to look up.
Class	The class you wish to look up. Note: if System Option #66 is set to N, any valid number (not necessarily a 4-digit year). may be entered. If System Option #66 is set to Y only years between 1700 and 2100 may be entered.
Date Added	The date that the row that you wish to look up was added.
Receipt Date	The receipt date of the gift that you wish to look up.
Credit 2 Amount	The credit 2 (soft credit) amount of the transaction you wish to look up.
Currency Amt	The currency amount of the gift that you wish to look up.
Annual Fund	This field indicates whether you wish to perform the lookup on gifts that have been made to the annual fund. Hard-coded values in this field include Annual Fund, Other, and All.
Fund Name	This field indicates the name of the fund gift you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_fund_code table (EL).
Transmit	This field indicates whether you wish to perform the lookup on gifts that were transmitted to the financial accounting system (FAS). Drop-down list; values are validated against the tms_transmit_to_acctg table (J7).
Reporting	This field indicates whether you wish to perform the lookup on gifts that were included in monthly gift reporting. Drop-down list; values are validated against the tms_reporting table (J8).
LM	This field indicates whether you wish to perform the lookup on gifts that were transmitted to the FAS, based on a specific ledger month code. This may be of particular importance to institutions or organizations whose accounting revolves on a ledger month, which may not be synonymous with a calendar month. Drop-down list; values are validated against the tms_ledger_month table (J9).
Create Tax Receipt	This field indicates whether you wish to include Tax Receipts whose Create Tax Receipt check box was checked, in your search. Values include All, None, Yes and No.
Year End Tax Receipt	This field indicates whether you wish to include Tax Receipts whose Create Year End Tax Receipt check box was checked, in your search. Values include All, None, Yes and No. This field only appears when system option 148 is enabled.
Charity	This field indicates whether you wish to perform the lookup on gifts made to a specific Charity. Drop-down list; values are validated against the Charity database table.
Sponsorship Amount	The sponsorship amount you wish to lookup.
Rec Project	The name of the physical recognition project. Values in this drop-down are validated against the tms_prp_project table (PR1).
Reference 1	The text of the first reference field associated with the gift that you wish to look up.
Reference 2	The text of the second reference field associated with the gift that you wish to look up.
