The Email Lookup is used to search for email information both organization and person entities. For example, use this lookup to search for all entities with unverified email addresses, email addresses that bounced numerous times or emails that originated from a specific external source.

Data Fields:
Preferred |
Indicates whether you wish to look up emails that are preferred, non-preferred or both. |
Send to iModules |
Indicates whether you wish to look up emails that are sent to iModules. |
Email Address |
The email address you wish to lookup. |
Email Status |
The status of the email address you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down are validated against tms_email_status (WG). |
Status Date |
The date on which the status of the email you wish to look up was last updated. When an email status is updated, the status date is automatically set to the date the status changed. |
Email Type |
The type of email address you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down are validated against tms_email_type (WI). |
Email Format |
The format associated with the body of the email you wish to look up. When a new email record is entered, this value defaults to H (HTML). Values in this drop-down are validated against tms_email_format_code (WF). |
Email Code |
This is a site-specific value associated with the email record you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down are validated against tms_email_code (WH). |
Original Source |
The source from which the email record you wish to look up originated. Values in this drop-down are validated against tms_email_source (WK). |
Change Source |
The source from which the email record you wish to look up was updated after it was originally entered. This value may be the same as the original source. Values in this drop-down are validated against tms_email_source (WK). |
Change Src Date |
The date on which the source of the email you wish to look up most recently changed. |
Failed Reason |
The reason the email you wish to look up was returned as undeliverable. Values in this drop-down are validated against tms_email_failed_reason_code (WJ). |
# Bouncebacks |
The number of times email was returned as undeliverable. |
Fwds To Email |
This is the email address to which emails you wish to look up are forwarded. This field may be utilized by alumni portals to indicate where email sent to a designated institution-specific account should be forwarded. |

Start Date |
The start date for the email you wish to look up. |
Stop Date |
The stopdate for the email you wish to look up. |
Date Added |
The date the email you wish to look up was first added. |
Date Modified |
The date the email you wish to look up was most recently modified. |
