The Children Lookup is used to search information about an entity’s children. For example, use this lookup to search for all entities that have children that were born in a specific year, children that were recently admitted to the institution or children that attend a different institution.
Note: If you enter the Child ID number in the Child ID field, you should not enter information in other fields. Specifying other criteria in addition to the Child ID will yield no records in the Lookup.

Child ID |
The entity ID of the child that you wish to look up. Must be a valid entity ID. Pressing F2 allows you to perform an entity lookup. |

Parent ID |
The entity ID of the parent that you wish to look up. Must be a valid entity ID. Pressing F2 allows you to perform an entity lookup. |

Relation |
The type of relationship of the child record that you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_relationships table (BI). |

Last Name |
The last name of the child that you wish to look up. |
|
First Name |
The first name of the child that you wish to look up. |

Middle Name |
The middle name of the child that you wish to look up. |
|
Preferred |
The preferred name of the child that you wish to look up. |
|
Sort Name |
The last name, followed by a comma and first name, followed by a comma and middle name, all in uppercase, for the child that you wish to look up. |

Prefix |
The personal prefix for the child that you wish to look up. Drop-down list; values are displayed from the tms_prefix table (Z1). |

Suffix |
The personal suffix for the child that you wish to look up. Drop-down list; values are displayed from the tms_suffix table (Z2). |

Record Status |
The status of the child that you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_record_status (AB) table. |

College |
The name of the college attended by the child that you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the institution table. |

Sec. School |
The name of the secondary school attended by the child that you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the institution table. |

Admiss. Status |
The admission status of the child that you wish to look up. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_admiss_status table (BL). |

Operator Name |
The name of the operator that last modified the row that you wish to look up. |

User Group |
The name of the user group that last modified the row that you wish to look up. |

Data Src |
This field indicates the source from which the children information you wish to look up originated. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_data_source table (YI). |

Gender |
The gender of the child that you wish to look up. Values display from the tms_gender table. |

Birth Date |
The date of birth of the child that you wish to look up. |

Sequence |
The sequence number of the child that you wish to look up. |

Admiss. Year |
The year that the child that you wish to look up was granted admission to the above named college. Must be a valid year. |

Class Year |
The class year of the child that you wish to look up. Must be a valid year. Note: if System Option #66 is set to 'N', any valid number (not necessarily a 4-digit year). may be entered. If System Option #66 is set to 'Y only years between 1700 and 2100 may be entered. |

Mag Date |
The date that the birth announcement for the child you wish to look up appeared in the alumni magazine. Must be a valid full date. |

Date Added |
The date that the row that you wish to look up was added. |

The date that the row that you wish to look up was last modified. |
