Transaction List

Transaction List displays individual gift and pledge transaction for this entity. The transactions are sorted by date of record with the most recent transaction at the top and the oldest at the bottom of the list.

Note: Gifts and pledges in batches that have not yet been put through gift processing do not show up here.

To display the Transaction List for an entity:

Perform a Lookup, using either the Entity's name or Entity ID to display the Entity Profile.
Expand 'Giving' on the Entity Profile Page Tree.
Click 'Views' and the Views Form displays.
In the Views Form, click the 'Transaction List' row on the list and the detail displays.

Note: To see the Primary Pledge Detail, Primary Gift Detail, Primary Gift Tender Type or any Gift Associated Donor transactions for a specific Gift or Pledge transaction, click a gift or pledge transaction number hyperlink.

Data Fields:

Date	This is the date of record for this transaction, followed by # and the unique Receipt Number assigned by the system when this transaction was entered. Whenever a donor has requested some level of anonymity, those requirements appear in boldface text adjacent to the receipt number.
Legal	This is the hard credit amount for this transaction.
Credit	This is the soft credit amount for this transaction.
Credit2	If the credit2 amount has been activated, that amount is displayed here.
Balance	For a pledge transaction, this is the remaining balance on the pledge that has not been paid.
Type	This is the transaction type (gift, pledge payment), or pledge type (straight pledge, grant, bequest intention). The donor type is enclosed in parentheses following the transaction type (primary, joint, covering account, etc.).
Change Reason	For use with the audit views, this is the short description of the reason the transaction was reversed or modified.
Change Reason Date	For use with the audit views, this is the date the transaction was reversed or modified.
Allocation	The short name for the allocation to which the amounts in this transaction were contributed. The general ledger account number for this allocation, enclosed in parentheses, follows the short name.
Status	If the transaction represents a pledge, this is the current status of the pledge. Examples include Paid, Active, and Incomplete. Values are validated against the tms_pledge_status table.
Addl Check Box	This check box indicates that more than one row of donor detail data exists for this transaction.
Class	This is the class credited with this transaction.
School	This is the school credited with this transaction. Values are validated against the tms_school_type table.
Dept	This is the department credited with this transaction. Values are validated against the tms_allocation_dept table.
Match Status	If the transaction represents a gift, the current status of matching claims and gifts attached to this gift is displayed below the allocation information.
Change History	If this transaction is the result of a modification to an earlier transaction, the original date, as well as the reason changed will display for the modification.
Campaign	If a campaign code was entered, either directly or via the batch defaults, when this transaction was processed through gift entry, the description associated with that campaign in the tms_campaign table is shown at the far right of the row.
