This code describes the Gift-In-Kind. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_gik_type table.  Required

Text describing the Gift-In-Kind. For example, Bronze sculpture of bears and cubs, artist Forest Hart. Required

Liquidated Amt

The amount of money received when the gift-in-kind was sold.

Appraiser

The name of the person or organization that appraised the Gift-In-Kind.

Amt

The monetary value for this gift as determined by the appraiser.

Date

The date that the Gift-In-Kind was appraised and the appraised amount was determined.

Cover

An identifying number for a cover letter that is related to this transaction.

Reference

This is a text field that references an external file source.

Deduction

This is the percentage used to calculate the gift amount when the gift is a deferred

gift.

Donor Amt

The amount the donor has placed on the gift-in-kind.

Liquidated Date

The date that the gift-in-kind was sold.

8283 Date

The date that 8283 form was mailed to the donor.

8283 Status

The status of the form that indicated whether the form needs to be filled out and sent to the donor. Values in this drop-down list are validated against the tms_form_8283_status table.

Inventory

If the institution is adding the gift-in-kind to their collection, an inventory number may be assigned.
