To add a proposal to a prospect:
From the Main Menu, click Go To.
When Go To appears, select the Prospect application (application ID 8826) and enter the Prospect ID number of the prospect. What if I don't know the Prospect ID number?
Click Go after you have specified the application and Prospect ID number.
When the Prospect detail appears, click the Proposal link in the Page Tree.
When the Proposal list appears, click the New button in the Form Header.
In the Proposal detail form, enter information in all applicable fields. At the minimum, you must enter a value in each required field. Required fields are indicated by a special character (such as a red asterisk) that appears directly to the right of the field label.
Click Save in the Form Header when data entry is completed.

Original Ask |
Originally-planned ask amount of the proposal. |

Expected Date |
This is the date on which money is expected to be received as a result of this proposal. |

Granted |
Actual amount granted by the prospect or program prospect. |

Funding Type |
Code describing the way the proposal will be funded, if it is accepted. Values is validated against the tms_funding_type table. |

Title |
The title of the proposal. |

Description |
Comment and/or observation information about the proposal. |

Start |
Start date for this proposal. |

Stop |
Stop date for this proposal. |

Campaign |
Code describing the campaign/context in which the prospect or program prospect will be cultivated and solicited. Values is validated against the tms_campaign table. |

Expected initial contribution amount by the prospect or program prospect. |

Anticipated |
This is the amount of matching money that might be received base on gifts made as a result of this proposal. |

Unique, system-generated ID for this proposal. |

Active |
Indicates whether the proposal is currently considered active. |

Plan Gift |
Indicates whether this proposal is for a planned gift. |
