Tasks records tasks and responsibilities for the event. You can assign more than one person to each task, with one being designated as having the primary responsibility.
To view or maintain tasks for an event:
On the Event Page Tree, click Tasks or click Go To, select Event Tasks (Application ID 60308, EVTASK), enter an Event ID and click 'Go'.
The Tasks Application displays. View or maintain existing tasks or click 'New' on the form header and enter the new task information.
Save your changes.

The Outlook Sync Type field appears only when Exchange Synchronization is enabled for a task context via System Option 295. When enabled, you can specify whether the entry is for synchronization as a task or calendar entry in Outlook.
Task |
Indicates the type of task; values in this drop-down list are validated against the Task table (tms_task, TK). Required |
Status |
Indicates the status of the task; values in this drop-down list are validated against the Task Status table (tms_task_status, TL). Required |
Unit |
The unit or school associated with the event task. Values in this drop-down list are validated against tms_unit_code (UU). |
Contact ID |
The Entity ID of the contact person for the task. If you do not know the number of the contact person, press F2 to initiate the Bio Lookup to find the person. |
Scheduled |
The scheduled date of the task (not required but recommended). This date is entered using the MM/DD/YYYY format. |
Completed |
The date the task was actually performed. This date is entered using the MM/DD/YYYY format. |
Status Change |
The date the status for the event last changed. This date is entered using the MM/DD/YYYY format. |
Description |
This text field may be used to enter up to 40 characters for a brief description of the task. Required |
