Event Resource Type Maintenance

Note: Resource Type Maintenance is available for institutions and organizations that are licensed for Events in Advance Web. Resource Type Maintenance is not included with the core license.

Resource Types provides a way of categorizing resources created in the system and associating certain behaviors and logic with them. Several Resource Type values are system delivered and have specific flags set to trigger certain behaviors.

To display Resource Type Maintenance and edit or add a resource type:

1. Click Go To on the Main Menu and select the "Resource Type Maintenance" application (Application ID 5061, RSRCT) and click Go. The Resource Type Maintenance Application will display.

2. Edit or add (click New on the Resource Type Form header) a resource type.

3. Save or cancel your changes.

The following are system provided Resource Types which are delivered for use with Event Management:

• Numbered Table

• Seating (with numbered tables)

• Meeting room

• Dorm

• Dorm Room

• Equipment

• Auditorium - assigned seating

• Auditorium seat

• Parking lot

• Tee time

• Meals

• Specific Meal

• Chartered Bus

• Product Group

• Product

The system provided Resource Types listed above may not be deleted, but you may edit the following fields:

• Description

• Vendor Entity ID

• Contact Entity ID

• Note

• Assignable Type (field can be switched between Registration and Participant)
